By accessing and using ConsultClock ("the Service"), you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement. If you do not agree to abide by the above, please do not use this service.
2. Description of Service
ConsultClock is a time tracking and invoicing application designed for consultants and freelancers. The Service allows you to:
- Track time spent on projects and clients
- Generate invoices based on tracked time
- Manage client and project information
- Generate reports and analytics
- Store and organize work-related data
3. User Registration and Account
- You must provide accurate and complete registration information
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
- You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account
- You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
- We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms
4. Acceptable Use
You agree NOT to use the Service to:
- Violate any applicable laws or regulations
- Infringe on the rights of others
- Upload or transmit malicious code or content
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service
- Use the Service for any unlawful or fraudulent purpose
- Harass, abuse, or harm other users
5. Data and Privacy
- You retain ownership of all data you input into the Service
- You grant us necessary rights to provide the Service
- You are responsible for the accuracy and legality of your data
- We will handle your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy
- You agree to maintain backups of important data
6. Intellectual Property
- The Service and its original content are owned by us and protected by copyright and other laws
- You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without permission

7. Service Availability
- We strive to maintain high service availability but cannot guarantee 100% uptime
- We may perform maintenance that temporarily affects service availability
- We reserve the right to modify or discontinue features with reasonable notice
- We will provide advance notice of planned maintenance when possible
8. Payment and Billing
- Subscription fees are billed in advance on a recurring basis
- All fees are non-refundable unless otherwise stated
- We may change pricing with 30 days' notice to existing subscribers
- Accounts may be suspended for non-payment
- You are responsible for any taxes related to your use of the Service
9. Termination
You may terminate your account at any time by:
- Contacting our support team
- Using account deletion features in the application
We may terminate your account if:
- You violate these terms of service
- Your account remains inactive for an extended period
- Required by law or regulation
10. Disclaimers and Limitations
- The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, except as required by English law
- We do not guarantee that the Service will meet your specific requirements
- Subject to the limitations below, we are not liable for any data loss or business interruption
- Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim
- Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under English law
- These limitations apply to the fullest extent permitted by English law
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Service or violation of these terms.
12. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These terms of service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from or relating to these terms or the Service will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts. Both parties submit to the jurisdiction of the English courts for the resolution of any such disputes.
13. Consumer Rights
If you are a consumer under English law, you have certain statutory rights that cannot be excluded or limited by these terms. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer, including rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
14. Changes to Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify users of material changes and the updated terms will take effect 30 days after notification, except where immediate implementation is required by law.
15. Severability
If any provision of these terms is found to be unenforceable under English law, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect. The unenforceable provision will be deemed modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable.
